***Three cases of Corona reported positive in State.

* Case 1 is a resident of Italy. Tracked at Amritsar Airport and is admitted at GMC Amritsar.

* Case 2 belongs to SBS Nagar. Patient was 70-year-old and was already suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension. 83 close contacts and family members of the patient are under surveillance and samples of 14 family members have been taken. The results of the samples are awaited.

* Case 3 belongs to SAS Nagar. She is 69 year old female. She came back from UK on 13th March at Delhi Airport. She reported at Max Hospital Mohali on 18th March. Samples were collected and found positive from PGI. She is admitted and stable. Her 21 contacts have been traced and are under home quarantine. Sample of close contact have been taken.

A.     Quarantine facilities have been identified in Amritsar and SAS Nagar.

Ø 47 passengers are under Govt quarantine at Amritsar.

o   43 passengers from Pakistan

o   04 passengers are from Iran landed at Amritsar on early morning of 20th March

o   All are stable and asymptomatic

B.     Advisory and guidelines issued to all the districts for prevention and management.

C.     Screening of passengers being done at both the International Airports (Amritsar & Mohali) and check posts at International Border (Attari/Wagah and Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur)

D.     2641 beds in Isolation Wards have been identified.

E.     6496 quarantine beds have been identified in the State

F.      Control Room at State & District level activated.

G.     Central Helpline number 104 active. No. of seats in 104 helpline have been increased to 15 in order to address the public queries.

H.    Sufficient logistics available at all sites.
