PM Narendra Modi losing faith in himself – National Address reflects

Ireland, 2 July (Dr Manju Dagar Chaudhary/Punjab Mail) – Last day Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation. Here are the 16 minutes tourist attractions from PM Modi’s communication to India:

India is doing much better in terms of fatality rate. Our lockdown has helped save lakhs of lives says PM Modi. Ever since there has been unlock 1, there has been irresponsible behaviour by some people. In comparison to other countries across the globe, India is still in a very stable situation, in the battle against Covid-19.

Timely decisions and measures have played a great role Unlock 1 saw some people drop their guard. This is the time we need to be even more careful. Please don’t drop your guard. We have to pay serious attention to the COVID-19 containment zones.

Under PMGKY – Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, 20 crore accounts have received 31,000 crore in their Jan Dhan Accounts PM says work is on the One Nation, One Ration Card.

We will further start economic activities. We will become vocal for local and become self reliant, the PM also said. PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana extended till November. I urge all of you to look after yourself. Wear a mask or face cover and ensure social distancing PM Modi said in his concluding remarks.

I thought PM Modi’s was not addressing the nation but campaigning for Bihar Election following guidelines of COVID-19 Pandemic. We were disappointed as journalist as nothing to gauge about the gigs used in speech in NATIONAL ADDRESS.

It looks like tele-prompter ate some of his paragraph to be spoken by him. He didn’t mention the current crisis with China. He even didn’t dared to say COVID-19 is a Chinese Virus he didn’t mention about current border situation. Forget condemning China, the PM is too afraid to even talk about it in his national address,” a tweet on Congress party’s official handle said, a few minutes after the prime minister’s address finished.

Prime Minister Modi’s national addressed major shocking point was every member of the family will get 5 kg wheat or rice. Also, every family will get one kilogram whole chana per month, free of cost. Truly it is free as it doesn’t cost Prime Minister and PMO’s pocket. But it does harm middle class who is paying – fake electricity bills, paying for data trapping of mobile phones bill, robbery in the name of fuel prices, no surety of job, and PMO becomes the machine to generate more poor in India.

Facts and figures don’t lie. BJP says: Make in India instead of Made in India. What  BJP does: Buy from China. During the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. The figure suggested that the Chinese imports had risen under the current regime.

Opposition made straight and scathing attack on Prime Minister Modi. As we have observed, opposition trying to galvanize the PM’s fear and losing trust in voters. Specially in middle class, the real Tax Payer of this Country.

The Congress party also criticized the PM’s speech and said: “We need to move beyond the symbolic gesture of banning 59 Chinese apps; we are importing more from China. Is this our response to 20 bravehearts losing their lives? We need more decisive decisions and real steps.

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, a fierce critic of the ruling BJP, however, repeated at a press briefing in Kolkata: “We support the government stand on China. We want it implemented in toto.”

An outspoken MP of her Trinamool Congress, Mahua Moitra, was less charitable. “Seventeen minutes of walking carefully around the Panda in the room.. Kyon PM Ji- abh kuch kaam ki baat ho jaaye? (Shall we talk more important matters?)” – tweeted Ms Moitra.
